CK61 Mic
Up for consideration is a single vintage AKG C460B condenser mic with a AKG CK61 Cardioid capsule (4 mics available), complete with its original mic clip and AKG case. These are great studio mics for acoustic instruments, and also are great for remote location recording, as well as live sound. This mic is in excellent condition, with only minor signs of use. New, the current model transformerless C480B costs $999, so here is an excellent opportunity to get one (or more) vintage transformer-coupled C460s and save $625!!!

CLASSIC AKG SOUND
C460B / CK61 Cardioid's have that great AKG character and tone that impart a smoothness and musical detail to your tracks. The C460B body circuit is based on the classic C451 circuit, but adjusted for less treble boost for recording in the digital age. The C460 is also more natural sounding, allowing accurate capture of the actual character of the instruments. The mic also features an either/or Pad / Bass Roll Off filter switch. The mic is in excellent condition, and has very little signs of use.
