This is an excellent concert classical 7-string guitar, equipped with a beautiful florentine cutaway, and a BBand pickup, so it can handle a variety of styles and performance situations, from classical solo recitals, ensemble performances, to amplified gigs. The added 7th bass string opens up a new world of bass line possiblities, and helps give the guitar extra resonance and sustain. Greg Brandt has been making a name for himself in the greater Los Angeles area during a 30-year classical guitar building carear that is still going strong. Many customers are LA-based pro studio musicians and his guitars have appeared on the soundtracks of several blockbuster film scores -- and if you go to the movies, chances are you have already heard his instruments being performed many, many times.
