Up for consideration is a vintage Neumann KM253 omni condenser microphone is excellent condition, with original aluminum capsule and AC701 tube, with a new PSU and cable set up and calibrated by Oliver Archut of AMI / TAB-Funkenwerk. These KM53/253 mics are some of the very best mics ever made, and are highly coveted for acoustic instruments, Decca Tree arrays, and mono room mics. You still will find these mics in widespread use in elite studios around the world, like Abbey Road -- where they have 4 of them!!! KM53 mics are very difficult to find -- especially all-original, and in excellent working & cosmetic condition, like this one. Vintage shops sell this mic for $3,750 and up, and here is a very rare opportunity to pick one up and save about $1,500!!!

CONDITION
This mic is in excellent condition, with some very minor dings and scratches from 50 years of normal use. Click HERE for 1270 Hi-Res photos, and HERE for specs from the Neumann website. The capsule and tube are both original, and the PSU was custom calibrated for this mic. This mic has no issues, and sound perfect.
